Americans that do, tend to exercise more than the average fitness enthusiast. Researchers at CU in Boulder gave a survey to adult marijuana users living in states where it's legal. More than 80% who responded said they used it within an hour of working out or within four hours after they finished.

Many of the people studied said that using marijuana helped them enjoy exercise more and even gave them initial motivated to work out. The study also found that people living in states where Marijuana is legal are the most physically active in the nation.
