Greeley Lifts All Evacuation Orders And Evans Starts Offering Help To Residents

With lots of sunshine in our forecast it gives hope to a new day and helping our neighbors do what needs to be done. As much bad news as there has been, with the sun, Greeley and Evans announce good news and La Salle may be ahead of the game as well.

The biggest news for Greeley residents along the river banks, ALL evacuation notices have been re-called and the city is proud to announce all is safe within their city limits. So now our big focus for Greeley is helping our neighbors to the South in Evans.

From the City of Evans,

The City of Evans has coordinated with Waste Management to provide roll-off dumpsters
to residents East of Highway 85 in Evans for disaster debris removal.

Flooding can create debris and waste that deserves quick response. Prompt cleanup and management of flood debris enables residents to move forward with their lives while minimizing potential public health and environmental issues that may be worsened if debris is left in place.

The resources are being delivered Tuesday by Waste Management and all dumpsters will be hauled off, emptied and replaced as needed, but no less than once a week. There will be no regular trash service in the area east of Highway 85 in Evans. Anyone in need of physical assistance due to medical or physical needs should contact the City.

Residents West of Highway 85 will continue to receive regular trash service on Tuesdays.
