Health Concerns Close Loveland Library

Libraries in northern Colorado are following the lead of thousands across the United States by closing down to help slow the spread of COVID-19.

The latest to close the books is the Loveland Public Library, located at 300 N Adams Ave.

The institution regretfully informed the community of their closure in a post on Instagram:

The Loveland Library is closed. In the interest of public health and safety, the Loveland Public Library will be closed through April 26, 2020, subject to changes.

They go on to say that the library will not be accepting material returns during the closure or before the reopening date. Also, classes, storytimes and any other events are cancelled.

However, in an effort to continue to connect and inform the community, the library is inviting you to a Census 2020 celebration live web party on Wednesday, April 15. They say on Instagram "Stop by this live, virtual web party for a presentation on the history of the census, do a children's craft, and to learn how to easily fill out your census online."
