Grammys Announced: Still Clueless
Well once again the Grammy award nominees were announced and they prove once again that they have no clue about country. I remember many years ago when Lyle Lovett and KD Lang won best male and female vocalist awards, I said to myself, “self, they have no clue” and to this day they still don’t. until they actually listen to and follow country music, they should eliminate the country category. Look over and the list of nominees and try not saying to yourself..”REALLY??!!??”. this last year has been fantastic in country, so many wonderful artists and songs and they just didn’t get it. The Miranda Lambert , Zac Brown Band and Lady Antebellum are about all they got right. We will continue to count on the CMA and ACM’s to celebrate this music we love so dear. I will be sending the Grammy panel a bloodhound for Christmas so maybe one day they will find a clue.
